I take a great deal of pride in my work and love to create things that make a smile. I was taught how to knit and crochet when I was very young but drifted from it for a long time. I only started knitting again a few years ago after I had my second open heart surgery. It was something I could do that was very calming, until I started to work with written patterns. I found I had trouble understanding what they were trying to explain, so I began writing my own. First with simple instructions and then I took it more seriously and began designing. My men's loafer was the first pattern I wrote and I have been on a roll ever since. It turned out that I designed my slippers to "hug" your feet with a supportive arch.

 

I now offer slippers patterns for all ages in many different styles. When I can, I love to create needle felted designs on my finished slippers. I start with a simple idea in my head and then let my hand do the rest. I love to watch the design take shape. I offer felted knit, knitting and crochet pdf patterns as well as pdf gift tags designed from my artwork displayed at Vogue Knitting Live in Chicago.

 

I have been creating qwerky artwork since I was little and worked as a production assistant before becoming a Mom. Many of my designs are featured on my family and friends as custom tattoos.
